No Fuss Christmas Swap

Morning Girls,
Just doing a little check in here - making sure no one has had any problems contacting their partners etc.  I'm in fine form with my parcel and it is ready to be posted so keep an eye out for it Erica.  I have plans to go to the post office today but seeing as it's a Tuesday and our regular stitching day, if I run out of time then it will definitely be at the post office tomorrow morning...
I am looking forward to see what everyone has created for their partners..  remember to resist temptation and don't open until the 25th.  Oh and drop me a line, letting me know when you have either sent or received and I will mark it on the sidebar..
I have not been commenting a lot on everyone's posts but have been stalking them constantly and I am impressed with all the progress everyone has been making with their blocks..  pat on the back to everyone oh and gold stars too..  Looking great girls..
Well that's all for me..
Merry Christmas Girls.

oooops a bit late with November blocks

At last I have finished the November blocks..... better late than never I guess.....

Blocks for November

Here are my four blocks. I am so rusty with blogging it has taken me ages to work out how to load the photos again. Looks like I need to jot down some notes so I don't forget for the next post.

Below are the first four rows which I have joined together as it makes it easier to select the threads I use for the next blocks. This quilt is all from my stash, fabrics used are April Cornell's  Poetry Collection and 3 Sisters Faded Memories which I have had in my cupboard for a number of years so good to finally find a project to use them in. Threads from my Cottage Garden collection for the border and DMC threads for the stitchery.
Everyone's blocks look great, so happy I am sewing along with you all. Have a wonderful Christmas everyone.

I've started!!

This is my first post on this blog...it's taken me a little while to decide on my fabrics and threads and then make a start.
Here are my first two finished blocks —
These are lovely to stitch aren't they?
Now that I've started I hope to keep chipping away at the blocks.
Happy stitching,
Raewyn.

Some stitching....

These tag blocks are just great for small pick up and go stitching and as they are all in the same thread they are very relaxing to do....

It's hard to stop once I get going and I have to remember I have other things to do also!

I'm so glad this quilt was pointed out for a Stitch-a-long... I never knew about it before and it really is very sweet....
